The Role of Lean Production in Managing Customer Relations in Iraqi Industrial Companies: An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Workers in the Modern Paints Company in Baghdad

The current research seeks to identify the role of lean production in managing customer relations in the Iraqi industrial companies. In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the study relied on the descriptive analytical approach through a sample of workers in the Modern Paints Company in Baghdad amounted to (150) individuals who were selected in a manner Randomly according to a group of demographic variables, and in order to collect the required data, a questionnaire was prepared to measure the research variables and verify the appropriate statistical characteristics for them of validity and stability, and after applying the research tool, the study reached the following results: 1. The paragraphs and areas of lean production are statistically significant, as the evaluation values ranged between (very good - excellent), which is an indication that the lean production is highly achieved by the employees of the Modern Paints Company in Baghdad. 2. It is clear from the previous table that the level of customer relationship management among the employees of the Modern Paints Company is achieved and statistically significant, as the dimensions ranged between (very good and excellent). 3. There is a significant correlation between lean production and customer relationship management, as the correlation coefficient between them reached (0.732). 4. There is a significant correlation between the organization of the work site and the management of customer relations, as the correlation coefficient between them reached (0.875). 5. There is a significant correlation between comprehensive production maintenance and customer relationship management, as the correlation coefficient between them reached (0.743). 6. There is a significant correlation between continuous improvement and customer relationship management, as the correlation coefficient between them reached (0.733). 7. There is a significant correlation between the value stream map and customer relationship management, as the correlation coefficient between them was (0.755). 8. There is a significant correlation between the withdrawal system and customer relationship management, as the correlation coefficient between them reached (0.743).
